アクリルでできた万華鏡

We have designed a new interpretation of the classical kaleidoscope. The concept is to make the kaleidoscope more simple and use as little design to make the biggest experience. We have used massive acrylic tubes, that has been cut in many different ways to create a different kaleidoscope effect in each tube.

The kaleidoscope is very transparent and looks like a crystal. This makes it possible for the surroundings to create the colors in the kaleidoscope, so the experience will chance depending on where you target the kaleidoscope. The kaleidoscope can also create a rainbow effect, when the light shines through the kaleidoscope, so there are many different effects in the kaleidoscope depending on from where you look at it or into it.

透明な素材の固まりから削り出した万華鏡。
それは日常の景色を不思議な世界に変化させる。
今までの万華鏡の筒を無くしたシンプルな形状は、素材の持つ独自の写り込みの反射に加え、先端に彫刻のような様々なカットを施すことで、覗き込むと中に鏡を貼り込んだ万華鏡と同じ効果が得られます。
水晶のような佇まいはインテリア小物として窓辺に置いても、光を受け虹色に反射します。
